ANDRA grew up in Swakopmund - a small town squashed between the cold Atlantic Ocean and the mystic Namib Desert. In
2007 she moved to Pretoria and soon teamed up with producer Ludwig Bouwer. "Secrets and Skeletons ... Notes from a
Desert Café", her debut Album, was released towards the end of 2007. The album's release was followed by several
nationwide South African tours, a sold-out tour of Namibia and performances at major Southern African festivals.
Her ever growing number of fans realise that ANDRA's music is constantly evolving, reflecting new dimensions and exciting
sounds without losing her "voice of the desert" quality. True to her nature, ANDRA underplays the effect of her music:
"I'm just telling stories, attaching sounds" she states. Her second album "Ever had that Feeling" was launched on
9 November 2009, to much acclaim. The album is available at stores nationwide with European release dates scheduled
for March 2010. For more information, please visit www.andra.co.za or

Originally rising to prominence as a keyboardist for an earlier group called Splendid, Big Ben emerged as one of Namibian
music's most seminal acts. Writing highly literate, sternly luminous songs accompanied by a fresh blend of instrumentation,
his music fused the traditional and rural folks rhythm with the spirit of urban African pop to create a unique blend
different from all other local musicians.
BIG BEN has been the most consistent musician in Namibia since 2001 when he released his first album, 'Don't Bother'. The
gentleman has performed on all stages in Namibia but mostly, Jazz, Afro Pop and Fusion venues. The respect he commands
from young adults and adults has earned him a place on the top of the Industry. Big Ben is the best Live Act in Namibia and
the City of Windhoek has awarded him with the Best Live Performer for the City's Annual /Ae//Gams Cultural Festival |

breath of refreshment'.
Born and raised in Onelago, a village in the north central part of Namibia, Blossom does not only remember the richness
and joy of her childhood experiences, but she deeply values her roots and the inspiration she's gotten all along from
the natural beauty of her land and its people. She is optimistic to see her music career reach its highest peak. |

DAMARADIKDING (born Arthur !Nanub, December 08,1980 in Windhoek) is an Namibian R&B, hip-hop and Kwaito music artist,
rapper, songwriter and producer. He was the ring leader of one of the most influential groups of Kwaito, the Matongo
Family. Influenced by early MTV years of YO! MTV Raps in the 90's, he fell in love with hip-hop culture and quickly
engulfed himself into this new lifestyle as a MC of his home suburb of Katutura. According to Arthur, he could easily
relate to Hip-hop because of its portrayal to street life as he himself grew up in a rough neighbourhood.
Currently he has completed a 13 track album which will be released under his label CHESSTA RECORDS in spring. His first
single from his forthcoming solo debut "Bakuten" feat newcomers Trowisas is receiving massive airplay on the Namibian
music Charts. |

The trigger for her love of music started at the tender age off five, when she first heard the emotional notes of Bolero
in her family home. Then, whenever she had a chance, she attacked the piano and created her own melodies to challenge
boredom and her love for music. In her early teens, she found the instrument that spoke clearest to her, the guitar.
Danella wakes up with melodies and is inspired by life events .... sad and happy. She has written 20 songs and is
passionately dedicated to her art, her music.
In the near future, she would like to record her first album. Her style captures life's up and downs, and as only true
artists can, her listeners often find solace in her lyrics and sound. |

Cool J Prince aka CJP is a member of one of the prominent Ragga/Dancehall and two time Channel O Award Nominees group THE
KALAHARIANS.
He started his musical career in the early nineties with different outfits like System Enemy, Extra Large and The Dungeon
Family before teaming up with the Kalaharians now signed under Ogopa Butterfly.
His love for music dates back as far as he can remember, with his likes for Brook Benton, Frank Sinatra, James Brown and many
more. Like his late mom, his love for music developed with every day of his life to this very day. After high school he just
indulged himself with the entertainment business by doing theatre acts, attending musical workshops, enrolling in music
theory classes. He is a versatile vocal artist, a good songwriter and a very good dancer. Yes, there is no way you can leave
him out of instruments like the marimbas, percussions and the flute.
Although he embarks on a solo project now, he still remains a member of the Kalaharians. He has a single out now on air
titled "Cum luv me tonight" of which the video also enjoys visual airplay on One Africa Television and NBC TV.
CJP is very humble. He is a man of faith, a father and a bad cook. He loves music and life; is very reserved and loves reading
in his spare time or just sits and composes songs. His message to the people would be that people should take life easy and
learn to roll with the punches for only the fittest of the fittest shall survive. He thinks of himself as the next best
thing on a solo tip in the Namibian music industry and Africa as a whole… You can get in touch with CJP on Facebook.
His favorite quote is: Just breathe, work hard and relax |

Elemotho G.R Mosimane is a Namibian born musician who composes, records and performs his own music. This artist plays
acoustic guitar as well as sings in his mother-tongue Setswana, English and other Namibian languages. He does not classify
his music under a certain style "I see myself as a performing artist and musical activist; I like to throw reality around,
thus exploring the depth of the human spirit".
When you listen to Elemotho´s first album "The system is a joke" you get an impression that you are listening to a musician
who has a lot to say. He carries his music with a touch of rhythms from the Kalahari Desert, mixed with ethnic and global
sounds, the calling of the rain combined with messages for our modern times. Elemotho has been busy the last years,
performing from South Africa to European International music festivals getting his music more solid and tighter than ever.
This musician has had the time to explore new sensations and odours all resulting into "HUMAN", his second album. |

Affectionately known to her fans as 'Ernie', Ernestine Deane gained huge popularity in South Africa as lead vocalist for
S.A. super group, Moodphase5ive.
Having released two albums with the live hip-hop band, Steady On and in Superdeluxe Mode and with several performances on
local and international recordings, she independently released her debut solo album, Dub for Mama in 2007.
A natural storyteller, Ernestine's lyrics cut to the bone. It is the combination of her honest song writing skills and
unforgettable melodies that earns her royalties off several international and local compilation albums, commercials,
soundtracks, documentaries and film scores.
Ernie has frequently toured the music festival circuit in Belgium, Holland, Germany and the Czech Republic, where she
wrote the epic single 'Praha Paradise' on her first visit to Prague in 2001. The track continues to receive airplay on

As the first Namibian 'international artist' to leave the country in 1995 after signing a contract with BMG Ariola Munich
in Germany, Freddy Taylor is back and keen to wow local fans with his flair for funk/soul, pop/rock and jazz. Taylor got
fame with the song "You're my Love" from Kenny Rogers after winning the NBC's Best Male Vocalist Award in the 90's.
Freddy's own funk and soul band, 'The Boogy Government', was selected as one of the 'Ten European Rock Bands' in Athens
in 1999, with Mick Jagger and Dick Taylor as the judges. In 2000, his band won the Bayern Lion Music Award out of 125

covering the soul songs of legends like James Brown, Al Jarreau, Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder just to mention a few.

Richard Meyer is no new-comer to Namibia's thriving music and entertainment industry, having wooed Namibian Jazz and Soul
audiences for close on 20 years now. Being the stalwart of the Namibian police brass band for almost his entire musical
career, he significantly contributed towards the repertoire of this fine troupe of musicians. Simultaneously he showed many
an aspiring trumpeter and tuba player the ropes during his tenure in the police force. Privately he pursued his love for
writing music and singing soul and jazz evergreens with such fine entertainment outfits like Purple Haze and The Weekend
Band.
In 2009 Richard decided to perfect his performance talents as a solo jazz vocalist, and concentrated on his 'comeback' into
Namibia's mainstream entertainment arena. There seems no stopping the creative energy of this seasoned artist. With one CD
album imminently waiting to be released, another double album of All-time favorites is already waiting in the wings.
Richard's ever-increasing repertoire includes cover classics from the 60's through to the 90's; delivering Barry White or
Michael Bolton renditions with as much as ease as penning his own compositions; showstoppers which will no doubt take him
onto stages beyond the confines of Namibia. |

The iScetemiya Singers vocal group was formed by seven young, gifted singers from Kuisebmond Walvis Bay, in October 2009.
They are a versatile entertainment group with a variable repertoire including traditional Namibian folksongs, popular hits,
Gospel songs as well as original tunes written by the 7 talented performers. The group accompanies their vocal delivery
with well-choreographed dance steps, and many hearts have been touched by their original and fresh show.
Since the iScetemiya Singers (Zulu: 'We are the Music') all hail from different social and religious backgrounds, they
decided to put forward a simple but irrevocable message of truth, unity and tolerance towards everybody. It is this message
of universal values which inspires their art and motivates their shows. |

With his mum playing both roles, and with Jericho too young to understand and with no father figure role model, Jericho

to his imprisonment at the age of 18. It was while incarcerated that he decided to change his ways and be a positive role

Jewelz was born in Mutare, Zimbabwe in 1985. Her love for singing and music were present in the very early stages of her
life, but because of the lack of opportunities in her home country she came to live in Namibia in 2006. In Namibia she was
soon recognised as a talented female vocalist by established artists and audiences. She has regularly performed as a
backing vocalist for the successful acts Ras Sheehama (2006-2009) and Eenganga (2007-2008). She also regularly featured
in the bi-weekly Afrodisiac shows (2007-2009), which featured laid-back, mostly acoustic, Namibian music, performed by a
variety of artists. Although fairly new on the Namibian music scene, she was nominated for best female vocalist at the
2008 Namibian Music Awards. She performed at the Annual Old Mutual Jazz Festival in 2009 alongside the likes of Swazi.
Internationally, Jewelz toured through the Netherlands with Chris Hinze as the main vocalist for the successful "Africa
Impressions" tour in 2008.
The musical genre she loves most and intends to specialise in is Afro Jazz. |

To date Joh White is Namibia's only white comedian. Since making his debut on 6th November 2009, he has accomplished much
success and growth within the comedy industry. After graduating from Windhoek High School in 2004 he set off to the
University of Stellenbosch for his tertiary studies and in 2008 he graduated with BComm degree in Management Accounting.
Not ever really considering the fact the stage might be his passion, he has always been the clown in his group of friends,
as is the case also in the firm where he works.
During 2009 he felt the urge to try stand up comedy after being inspired by many overseas comedians and that he believed he
had the right sense of humour for it. He found out about the 'Free Your Mind' stand up comedy concept in Namibia and
contacted them in October 2009. That November, he became the first ever white comedian to enter onto a Namibian stage,
history in the making. To date the majority of his acts have been in English, but being from an Afrikaans family it is
also possible for him to specialise in Afrikaans humour.
"Making people laugh is really a passion and a huge God given talent that I have. Stand up comedy is a great way for me to
escape from all the stresses of the world. Especially when you write your material, it's like your mind just enters another
universe. I can only pray that would be blessed with even greater things to happen in the future" |

Lady May, born Martha Namundjebo, started singing and experimenting with lyrics and styles from a very early age. Her music
and fashion sense combine tradition and modern day life to perfection. This can be attributed to her colourful beginnings.
She was born on the 20th December 1986 in Angola from exiled parents at Calulo, a small village near Kwanza Sul. Just before
independence she returned from Angola and settled in the Northern part of Namibia. In 1994 Lady May came to the capital,
Windhoek.
This hard working, positive minded musician is convinced that dreams are there to be achieved. Lady May knows that the
music industry is not a piece of cake; it's tough, crazy, and very competitive. Yet with faith and determination she is
reaching for the stars! |

When an idea, fuelled by passion and pursued with dedication, evolves by its own volition into a free- spirited, creative
process, the result is more than the sum total of its parts. For example Organic Groove: A 3-piece cross-cultural, musical
interaction fusing the Australian Didgeridoo, the African Drum and the European Guitar into a harmonic, tangible whole,
creating new possibilities for cultural explorations.
From the onset the group consisting of Gerhard Beyleveld (Didgeridoo), Richard Redecker (Lead Guitar), Noddy Alfred
(African Percussion) decided not to over-conceptualize their material, but rather allow each individual musician and
instrument to harmonize and express creativity without dominating the whole. In a word: Organic!
The easy listening repertoire of the group includes tunes reminiscent of a more aesthetic philosophy, celebrating life for
life's sake, without excluding the realities of everyday challenges. Musical genres easily identified in the spontaneous
melodies are African Kwela tunes, American folk-rock and Western Jazz improvisations. |

of venturing in Cape Town between studying and playing in a punk rock band. He saw the opportunity to start a new band in
Namibia after meeting Heiner Ihlein aka E-Line, now lead guitarist of Famaz Attak. The plan was to form a band that stands
for pure entertainment. Namibian Rock n' Roll to its fullest definition. If you play in this band, it doesn't matter how
good you are, as long as the attitude towards music among the band members is the same, ambitions are on one track and the
band can go on stage and do what it set out to do - mission accomplished.

aka Space Monkey on Bass. Famaz Attak was born! |

Like many aspiring musicians, singer/guitarist Franko Venter started out playing in a variety of garage bands early on,
honing his skills on guitar and bass until he joined more prominent hard rock acts Obscured, and later Relic - who shared
the stage with two chart topping European acts.
As these bands disintegrated over time, Franko turned his attentions back to his roots and started focusing on acoustic-based
music, teaming up with Gerhard Becker to form Exhibit A. Exhibit A debut at a Namrock Halloween festival and quickly became
a staple at local restaurants and bars.
After some time away from actively gigging, Franko returned to the acoustic scene, this time sitting in with
singer/songwriter PD Stoman, adding additional guitars and vocals.
It is while jamming with PD that Franko decided to strike out on his own and pursue a solo music career. Currently working
on completing his home studio, Franko aims to complete his debut EP early in 2011. |

According to legend, Small Town Tramp was born at the end of 2009 in Namibia, along the Southwest coast of Africa
(Benguela current and all!). It is said that from the sands here in one of the oldest deserts in the world, grew a musical
force with such vigour, such audacity, that it stood ready to rule the world! A force which fused electrical rhythms and
distorted sounds over thunderous beats... sculpting... forming... moulding its existence... it's very being... into a
gnarly pair of big, red, sandy testes.
In reality however, singer/guitarist PD Stoman (Mojo Blues Electric Band) and bassist Sigi Mueller (Arcana XXII) one day
decided it was time to play some good dirty rock 'n roll, and found a beat-partner in drummer Chris De Chavonnes Vrugt
(Multisonus) … a band was born. Their style is a blend of grungy alternative rock that is best listened to at high
volumes.
