The concert is in aid of the Cancer Association of Namibia and it is hoped that patrons will not only come to enjoy the music but
will also donate for the Cancer Association. In fact if you are not able to attend the concert patrons are encouraged to donate
to the Cancer Association irrespective of whether they can come to the concert or not. A barometer of the funds accrued by the
concert will be on display at the concert on Saturday so audiences will have an exact yardstick of how much their contribution
is helping towards alleviating the plight of the many cancer patients in Namibia. Benefits from future concerts in the courtyard
will also be donated to various worthwhile causes yet to be identified.
dB Audio will provide technical support, in keeping with their commitment to developing the local events industry. Professional
technical crew will be supported by a number of industry trainees. This initiative follows on a series of technical training
workshops that was presented by dB Audio and the National Arts Council of Namibia. Concert in the Courtyard presents an ideal
opportunity for these promising young Namibians to gain hands-on industry experience.
