Apart from a well-oiled and diverse repertoire of African Standards, R&B, Ragga and Afro-Fusion Hip-Hop, Ongoma also performs an extensive range of Gospel and Hymns. These have become particularly popular with the numerous weddings where Ongoma lend a special African flair to the ceremonies.
Apart from continuously extending our song list with new melodies and fresh, original ideas, Ongoma has also collaborated now for some time with West-African Modern Dancing Outfit, "First Rain", choreographed by Trixie Munyama, to establish synergistic show of drum and dance.
If the inclination tends more towards the traditional, Ongoma also sources cultural troupes, most notably the YAM Damara Cultural Group, performing traditional and contemporary Damara and Tswana dances and songs or Ondunga, who specialise in Owambo and Herero traditional dances.
Any of the above can be complemented by the dramatic underscoring of Ongoma's seasoned Firespinners. Either alone or in pairs of twos and threes, the traditional pois of the Maori have been adapted to weave infinite patterns of fire and beauty
