Two or more Drummers can be hired for private or public performance shows at venues chosen by the client. Ongoma Wokshop has extensive experience with public performances and can tailor-make a show to suit the needs of the client. These include receptions, parties, functions, price givings and many more.
Ongoma has over the years established a reputation for being able to lend just the right note to any official function. The marimbas, horns and shakers accompanied by the rich African songs remind everybody that this is Africa.
Drumming Circles:
Monthly, participation based drumming circles are organized at various venues around Windhoek and advertised in the press.
Core drummers present the drumming sessions usually in a rustic bush setting. Participants can bring their own drum, but genuine Djembe drums can be hired at a nominal fee and full bar facilities are available.
